I have another haul video for you!! This time it's from Target and the Dollar Tree. Even though we moved almost 7 months ago we are still getting certain things figured out. New house means new systems. I wanted to get myself organized with my cleaning products. I think this haul help to solve the problem. Will it make cleaning fun...I doubt it, BUT it will be easier, and I'll take that ;)

Disney Cars Birthday Party
We threw a Disney Cars themed party to celebrate the boys 4th birthday. We had family and friends come by, but one special visitor gave us an amazing surprise. The party turned out better then I could have planned. I can't believe my little guys are big boys. No more toddler stage. It's such a blessing to be their mom.
PARTY TIME
---------------------
This one came out a little better, but poor Noah looks like he's catching flies...Hehe.
(In order: Allison, Noah, Caleb, Shirlee, My Mom, & Dad)
Don't feel bad if you missed the party. You know we love all of you, and would never want to leave you guys out! Just click the play button you've been cordially invited to Noah & Caleb's 4th Birthday.
THE DECORATIONS
-------------------------------------------------
I loved how the food table came out. I have made decorations for past birthday parties, but this year I was on a time crunch...So off to Party City it was to pick up pre made-ones. Let me tell you I really might reconsider the homemade ones since this was a cinch to put together.
We bought two ballon bouquets. Which where pretty expensive if you ask me. Almost 45 bucks is kind of crazy, but I tried rationalized it by telling myself they would last a long time. Guess what...it's been over a week since the party, and we still have Lighting McQueen and Mater in our living room. They make the kids happy every day.
Here's a close up of the cute centerpieces, snacks, and tableware.
I also picked up this wall mural. It was so big that I split it up. I put the Happy Birthday part in our living room above the couch, and the characters in the dinning room as backdrop for pictures.
Loved these hanging decorations too! We still have them up :)
ARTS & CRAFTS
-------------------------------------------
My parents gave this adorable table to the boys early, so they could have it for their party. I was able to find great Cars arts and crafts at the Dollar Tree. They actually had bunch of great finds there....We got Cars bubbles, a box of Cars tissues, the Cars arts and crafts, dishwasher safe Cars cups, and "matchbox type cars" of the characters that I put on food table.
THE CAKE
----------------------
The cake turned out perfect. The boys have chosen cupcakes the last two years so it was nice to have a fully decorated cake this time. We got ours from Big Y, and boy was it yummy. It was a yellow cake with fresh strawberry filling and whipped buttercream frosting. They were so excited when the saw picture at the bakery, but nothing compared to the real thing. Poor Caleb asked me everyday "Is the baker was done baking my special Lighting McQueen & Mater cake." When he finally saw it at the party he was super excited.
I love how they held hands. (LEFT) It melt my heart to see the twin bond they have. They may have to share a lot more then singleton siblings, but they don't seem to mind...yet at least! I think they will always enjoy the specialness of being a twins.PARTY TIME
---------------------
The boys really enjoyed ripping open their presents. They got bunch of clothes and a few toys. Which I was pretty happy about. They get spoiled with toys at the holidays, and their room is starting to look like a toy store. Clothes are much more practical plus it helps Dean and I out with school clothes. (LEFT) I can't believe in midst of all the party craziness my Caleb stopped, and took a picture with his mama. That's a rare occurrence for my handsome buddy. (RIGHT)
PICTURES
----------------------
Here is the best family picture I we took. I thought pictures might be easier this year...Yeah think again! They were overdosed on chips & cake, but hey at least they had fun.

Noah & Caleb's Birthday Vacation || National Harbor, MD
We wanted to take the boys on one more vacation before the summer was over. Since their birthday is on the 27th of August it worked out perfectly. We went with friends of ours who have a one and half year old little girl named Libby. The boys love playing her, and they all get along so well. We stayed at another vacation rental with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, living room, and 2 bathrooms. Our bedroom was huge with a king bed, stand up shower, and whirlpool tub for two. The boys slept on the sofa bed again which I preferred since it was closest to our room. We went to the Awakening Statue, out to a "fancy" dinner, swam in the pool, and even went to Build-a-Bear! They kept thanking us for their birthday vacation. Well worth it!

Kiddo's geared up for the drive down
1st night there. Ready for a night on the town!
The ferris wheel looked beautiful on the water.
Love this picture
We watched a great fireworks display
Then it was off to the Awakening Statue that Caleb (LEFT) was so excited about.
After dinner the kids snuggled up, and watched some Bubble Guppies.
Day two started with this fun family photo on a super hot butterfly chair.
I mean so hot we needed to put a towel down so we could sit on it.
Noah chillin' by the water
They loved this HUGE statue

The boys loved their new Thomas the Train towels their Nana gave them.
