Happy Birthday Dad

 My father in law turned 63 yesterday!

We told him to come up with a menu and we would make what ever he wanted. 

Dean and I were in charge of decorations and appetizers. My sister & brother in law made dinner Pernil (puerto rican pork shoulder) & rice & beans. 

I thought I'd share some of the things he requested.

Trader Joe's ~ Mini Midweek Haul

We needed to go head back to TJ's because were already out of things! I thought I'd share our mini midweek grocery haul from Trader Joe's :)

• Reusable Shopping Bags - Love these...ONLY 99 cents & they hold the heavy stuff 
• Dried Baby Sweet Pineapple - OMGoodness tried these last night..Yup their awesome
• Pretzel Thins - Just add some hummus and you've got yourself a tasty & healthy snack
• Organic Orange Strawberry Banana Juice - To died for...enough said
• Orange Peach Mango Juice - If #4 & #5 got together they'd be the power couple of juice isle
• Orange Juice - Because we didn't buy enough juice made out of oranges
• Organic Popcorn - This stuff is made in olive oil...Yup popcorn just got even healthier
• Cinnamon Apple Snack Sticks - Noah & Caleb's kryptonite
• Mac n' Cheese - The best mac n' cheese out of box and you can make in the microwave
• Red Grapes - Year round these are delish
• Sunflower Butter - Great for school lunches
• Mini Beef Tacos - Haven't tried these yet but they caught my eye
• Strawberry & Banana Yogurt - Huge treat to have flavored yogurt in our house
• Roasted Red Pepper Hummus - This is how my kids eat their veggies
• Chicken Salad - This was the sample...We always get sucked in
• Chicken Parmesan Lollipops - Because food can be fun too
• Kind Bars - Our new obsession
• Breaded Mozzerella Sticks - Just add sauce and enjoy
• Bunch of Banana - The boys FAVORITE fruit & must be bought every time we grocery shop
