Squantz Pond 2014
Every year we get a private cottage on Squantz Pond to enjoy with family. This year was great even though Dean had to work and couldn't come with us. We hung out all day and got lost on the way home (hehe), but all in all it was a great day with food, fun, and family!! Teacher Gifts - End of the Year (6-17-14)
I completely forgot I had to buy end of the year teacher gifts! Good thing my mom called and reminded me. It was a mad dash to the mall where I bought the cutest Philosophy gifts sets. I found a cute free printable gift tag and I think they turned out pretty cute. Oh and I found small candles in y gift closet that packaged up for their bus driver. Under The Sea - Aquarium Visit
The boys have been learning all about sea life so we thought it would perfect to take them to the aquarium. They loved it! Trader Joe's Baking- DITL (6-1-14)
Today I had to catch up on my baking so I thought I'd take you guys along with me. I've had a few questions on what I do with all the food I buy from Trader Joe's . Banana & Apple Pancakes
1-1/4 cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 Tbsp. Raw Honey
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Ripe Mashed Banana OR Applesauce
1 large Egg
2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil

Memorial Day in New York City - DITL (5-26-14)
What a day! We spent our Memorial Day in the one of the largest city's in the world, New York. It was the boy's first time there, and they soaked it all in. It was a bit of sensory over load at first but they got use to it, and in the end they didn't want to leave. We had a lunch & ice cream, rode a carousal, and of course a trip to the city wouldn't be complete without a stop at White Castles...What you crave! I love the hustle and bustle of the city it make me feel alive! I can't wait to go back. Now that the boys are older I want to try, and go more often. DITL - Ikea Trip & The Boy's Cook!?!
We took an IKEA trip!! I love that store even though it sucks me in and spits out my empty wallet! The boys needed a table for their room. You know something to play games on and do arts & crafts. I went in thinking I was going to get the brown table and chairs, but it wasn't enough space for two kids so I had to pick out a different one. I doesn't match their room as well but it's functional, and they love it. After some retail therapy we thought why not let the boy's cook!?! Yup, they made their own pizza's. DITL - Pediatrician's Office
Well the verdict is in and.......Yes! Caleb does has strep throat. I feel so bad for my little guy. I kept them home so they could both get tested and Noah's fine, so he'll go back to school tomorrow. Other than not wanting to eat certain foods you wouldn't even know he was sick.
